Looking for local support, services, or new opportunities in the Quad Cities? The Community Resources Fair will bring together local organizations, agencies, and service providers for a free public event on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the YWCA, 513 17th Street, Rock Island, IL 61201. The event is open to everyone, and no registration is required.
Community members can connect with agencies offering information on employment and job training opportunities, housing and financial assistance, healthcare and wellness resources, education and youth programs, and family and community support services. The fair is designed for individuals, families, students, young adults, and anyone who wants to learn more about helpful resources available in Rock Island and the surrounding Quad Cities area.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early. The first 70 participants will receive a free food voucher for Abarrotes Carrillo. Prairie State Legal Services will also offer free 30-minute sessions to help individuals learn more about expungement options through New Leaf Illinois, which may help eligible participants take steps toward a fresh start.
